The booth showcased SlowMist’s latest practices in AI security, threat intelligence, and on-chain risk control, while also featuring interactive lucky draw activities.
Through face-to-face conversations with our team, many participants gained deeper insights into the new attack surfaces and defense strategies emerging in the AI era of Web3, and took home customized SlowMist T-shirts, the Dark Handbook, notebooks, tote bags, stickers, and other exclusive souvenirs.
In addition to the high-frequency interactions on-site, SlowMist’s booth also welcomed visits from numerous industry guests and ecosystem partners. Meaningful discussions took place around AI security trends, Web3 risk governance, and the future direction of the industry, with many memorable group photos captured along the way.
Opening Ceremony & Main Forum Recap
The opening ceremony took place on the morning of April 20 at the Main Venue · Mountain Stage. Mr. Lu Weiding, Deputy to the National People’s Congress, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Wanxiang Group, delivered a welcome speech. He noted that Hong Kong is advancing innovations in stablecoins and asset tokenization with its positioning as a “digital source hub.” He emphasized that the integration of Web3, AI, and embodied intelligence is collectively building the foundational infrastructure for an “intelligent economy.”
In his subsequent opening keynote, the Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Paul Chan Mo-po, stated that the rise of AI Agents marks a new phase of the digital economy. The convergence of Web3 and AI is reshaping multiple sectors, including finance, trade, supply chains, and logistics, while also introducing new requirements for payment and settlement systems as well as regulatory frameworks. He emphasized that Hong Kong will continue to advance innovation in areas such as stablecoins, tokenization, and AI, maintaining a balanced approach between prudent regulation and innovation support, with the goal of building a globally competitive digital financial hub.
In addition, representatives from the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau, the Securities and Futures Commission, and the Legislative Council shared insights on Web3 regulatory practices and institutional development, offering policy and compliance guidance for the industry’s growth. Scholars and guests from academic and international institutions also engaged in discussions on digital asset regulatory trends and global fintech development, providing multi-dimensional perspectives on the industry.
In the thematic forum titled “Web3 x AI: Value Reconstruction in Intelligence Age”, held at Venue 1 · Wind Stage, Keywolf, Partner & CPO of SlowMist, was invited to participate in the roundtable discussion “Does AI Truly Need Web3?”. Together with leading experts from industry and technology, he explored the practical pathways for AI and Web3 to evolve from mere technical integration toward value symbiosis, drawing on dimensions such as data privacy, decentralized computing power, and value attribution. Combining SlowMist’s security practices and experience, Keywolf shared insights into the new security challenges facing Web3 in the AI era, along with corresponding countermeasures. His contributions added a pragmatic security perspective to the forum.
Parallel Sessions: Contributing Professional Insights on Security and Compliance
In addition to the main venue forums, SlowMist actively participated in multiple parallel events during the Festival, further sharing its professional perspectives on security and compliance.
On April 22, the Inaugural Global Web4.0 Summit was successfully held at CyberArena, Hong Kong Cyberport. Co-organized by AlloyX Group and ME Group, the summit focused on the theme “Innovation and Convergence of AI + Digital Assets”. It explored the development direction of “active intelligent networks” in the Web4.0 era and attracted representatives from industry, academia, and regulatory bodies. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the new business paradigms and value circulation models arising from the integration of AI and digital assets.
Keywolf, Partner & CPO of SlowMist, was invited to join the roundtable discussion titled “Security & Auditability: Establishing the Trust Foundation of Web4.0”, where he exchanged views with other speakers.
On the same morning, the “Linking the Globe: Hong Kong RWA Infrastructure Ecosystem Seminar and RWA Connect 2026 Launch Event” was successfully held on the 7th floor of the AIA Central Financial Centre in Central, Hong Kong. Co-organized by Star Road, Star Chain, Fosun Wealth Holdings, and ME Group, this closed-door seminar brought together core decision-makers from financial institutions, family offices, and technology service providers. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including RWA infrastructure, ecosystem collaboration, and compliance & security systems, aiming to facilitate global RWA resource connectivity and practical implementation.Sun Xi, Vice President of SlowMist, was invited to participate in the roundtable forum. He shared insights under the theme “Compliance and Security: How Can RWA Build a Trustworthy Ecosystem?”.
Sun Xi emphasized that smart contract audits should not rely on a single institution. Instead, multiple stakeholders must collaborate — from underlying design to multi-dimensional inspections — to collectively ensure project security. He noted that SlowMist has established a deep presence in Hong Kong, providing security audit services for numerous local projects. Looking ahead, SlowMist is willing to further participate in the Hong Kong RWA Connect ecosystem, working hand in hand with financial institutions and industry partners to build an open, prosperous, and trustworthy RWA environment.
Hacking Time: A Technical Feast for AI × Web3 Security
As one of the most technically in-depth security-focused events during the Festival, SlowMist successfully hosted “Hacking Time: Security for AI & Crypto, AI for Security” on the afternoon of April 21 at 1F CAI CAFE, CAI Building.
The event attracted numerous security researchers, developers, and Web3 practitioners. The venue was fully packed, and the exchanges were lively and engaging.
The event was hosted by 23pds, Partner & CISO of SlowMist. Cos, Founder of SlowMist, delivered the opening keynote titled “SlowMist’s AI Security Practices”. He provided a systematic analysis of the shift in AI security threats from “future risks” to “real-world issues,” and introduced SlowMist’s AI security architecture centered on MistAgent, integrated with capabilities from MistEye and MistTrack.
Subsequently, SlowMist experts, including Thinking, Head of Business Security at SlowMist; Kong, Head of Security Audit Team at SlowMist; and Keywolf, Partner & CPO at SlowMist, delivered in-depth analyses from multiple dimensions. These included threat intelligence closed-loop systems, AI-driven smart contract auditing and offensive-defensive practices, as well as challenges in cryptocurrency anti-money laundering. Industry guests SEEM and Chris Yang also shared unique perspectives on Claude Code engineering practices and Web3 privacy protection.
Finally, a panel discussion hosted by Tony Tan, SlowMist Hong Kong Community Lead, focused on “The Future of Web3 in Hong Kong: Will AI or Stablecoins Be the Key Driver?”. Together with guests from RigSec, FinTax, and JunHe Law Offices, the panel explored the collaborative pathways between technology, compliance, and industry development.
After the event, the “SlowMist Night Talk” brought together more than 30 practitioners from fields including security research, on-chain analytics, and compliance. The open and collaborative atmosphere further strengthened cross-team connections and laid a solid foundation for future coordination in security capabilities.
Overall, the Hacking Time event not only highlighted the real-world challenges facing AI × Web3 security, but also more clearly reflected an industry trend: security is evolving from isolated, point-based offense and defense into an increasingly infrastructure-level capability.
